Kicking off the Fringe Fest and the Bride's
31st Season, Day of the Poet celebrates its 5th year as the
city's vanguard festival of the spoken word. This all-star event
brings together some top-flight talent from years past to highlight
this landmark series' contribution to the Philly's poetry scene.
Artists include Ursula Rucker, the Twin Poets, Rich Medina,
Keith Roach and host and visionary Kevin O'Neill. Also featured
are special guests from the Nuyorican Poets Café in New York
and The Young Philly Poets Collective. Poets, bring your latest
poem for our Open Mic Lotto. A not-to-be-missed commemorative
